Removing Tenants
To completely remove a tenant, you must consider all the Stellar Cyber objects they own, such as charts, reports, dashboards, connectors, and so on, need removal at the same time. - Unauthorize tenant sensors.
- Clear the tenant database.
- Remove tenant users.
- Delete the tenant from tenant groups.
- Remove associated tenant objects.
- Delete the tenant.

The AUTHORIZE SENSORS panel appears.
-
Select Unauthorize.

-
Select the sensors you want to unauthorize and then click or tap the Add arrow.
The selected sensors are added to the Selected Sensors list.
-
Select Submit.
The sensors are unauthorized, but data might still be ingested as the queue is emptied.
-
Refresh the Sensors list until the icon appears in the Authorization column.
Clearing the Tenant Database
After the sensors stop sending data and the icon appears next to the sensors, you can clear the tenant database:

Select the button to delete the corresponding user.
The user is immediately deleted.
Repeat until you delete all the users for this tenant.
- To assign the users to different tenants:
Select the button to edit the user.
The EDIT EXISTING USER screen appears.
Choose a different tenant from the Tenant drop-down list and then select Submit.
Repeat until you reassign all the users for this tenant to another tenant.
Deleting Tenants from Tenant Groups
If the tenant was a member of a tenant group, you must remove it from that group:
-
Select System | ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT | Tenant Groups.
The table of tenant groups appears.
-
Select the button for the tenant group to which the tenant you want to delete belongs.
-
Select next to the tenant in the Added Members list and then select Submit to delete it from the group.
Removing Associated Tenant Objects
Before you delete a tenant, make sure you remove any of the objects belonging to the tenant in the procedure below. This way, Stellar Cyber won't generate an error message regarding custom objects remaining when you delete the tenant in the next section:
-
Navigate to Dashboards | CREATION | Dashboards and delete any dashboards belonging to the tenant to be deleted.
If you want to keep the settings of a tenant-assigned dashboard, you can open the dashboard and use the Export | Export as Configuration feature to save the dashboard settings with a tenant assignment of All Tenants before deleting the tenant's version.
-
Navigate to System | Saved Objects | Charts and delete any charts belonging to the tenant to be deleted.
You can sort the list by Tenant name to make it easy to see all charts belonging to the same tenant.
-
Each of the following entries in the System menu can include custom objects belonging to the tenant to be deleted. Go to each of the following pages, sort the resulting table by Tenant name, and delete all listed objects belonging to the tenant:
-
System | Saved Objects | Queries and Filers
-
System | Recipients
-
System | Saved Objects | Saved Scripts
-
System | Tags
-
System | Saved Objects | Lookups
-
Deleting Tenants

The table of tenants appears.

The tenant is immediately deleted.
